Yeah, I'm still here

Well, Life is life here in Ft. Wayne.
New people same problems...

BN third dude, has decided that he should come to work clock in and clock out.
I guess he thinks he can't get fired if he shows up..Go Figure...
Anyway I will be removing him this week.. GOOD RIDDENS>>>

I hired a new girl who used to work across the street at another hotel.. It is privatly owned and she didn't like the owners. We'll see how long she likes me...

Interesting Hotel Biz..

Signature has been bought by a southern chain callled the Jamison Inns.
This is good for me cause most northerns don't know that chain so I have a chance to steal business.

Fairfield accross the street went to Amerihost.. But since the Amerihost name has been bought by Baymont they now have to change there name again. I'll be shocked if they last the winter.

The residence Inn down the street will have to change their name in a year or so.. They will not renew the name for residence because the room doors go directly outside..
Again good for us>>>

My boss came and said we were doing pretty good>>>> Even went on a few sales calls. Not to thrilled I have to do that but hey thats life....
I'll get over it.. Not to bad though.. Could be worse...

Hey Misty!
Glad things are, at the very least, the usual. We all are alright here. We found the cat harness, and have tried "walking" the cat. Mostly means standing around until Barkely decides to investigate something, and then pulling him back when he finds some disgusting, dried up puddle of nastiness to lick. Don't need him puking in the house. Actually, I've come to realize that how a cat pukes, is so very cat-like. First, he must make loud gulp sounds to inform everyone that he is going to vomit, and they must hurry to observe this important event. Then the actual slow motion vomiting complete with backing up so he can make the biggest mess possible, and this follwed by his wanting to now sit in your lap to either: A. share his vomit breathe with you, or B. make sure you dont miss any encore pukes. Actually, it is probably both!

Wow, it's not every day I can read this blog & learn about cat puke. Bleh...no wonder we have a dog.

Misty...sounds like life isn't too bad, eh? I think you have a good handle on the help around those parts.

How are your dog & ferrets?
