Life in Ft. Wayne

Well I went camping again this weekend..
Wasn't to bad. I bought a cot cause I didn't like the air mattress.
Cot is small but much more comfortable.
I've become an expert at cooking on an open fire.
I can cook bacon and hamburgers without burning them.. COOL

The dogs were boarded in brown county. That's little nashville, IN
It was a horrible place.. NEVER AGAIN. This bratty kid kept trying to get his kitten to bite my dog. I yelled at him, told him if his kittem scratched my dog he would be a very unhappy little boy. He finally got the picture and left. PEOPLE

cinnabon (the ferret) got sick.. We took him to the vet hospital 3 TIMES.
On the third try they finally realized that him not eating was a bad thing. Gave us this canned food that he likes and he eats that.
Actually lets start at the beginning.
Go there the first time. Tell them he is sick, runny nose and won't eat. They say he could have this bad cancer but that they can't test him cause he is to active. sends us home.
Next Morning. Cinnabon is acting worse. Take him in. They tell us that he might have a cold or the cancer. Can't check him cause he is to active.. send us home.
8pm same day - We go back- cinnabon has now not eaten in 2 days... He tests him for the cancer. Negative... Then gives us this food that he likes. He ate some their. Gave him some liquids under his skin..
NOW WHY DID IT TAKE THREE TIMES TO GET WHAT WE NEEDE!!!!!!
He is doing better

We are currently dog and bird sitting. So I have a parakeet, shit zu, pomeranian, keeshound and two ferrets to watch.. At least this is only for a week..

Well, I'm almost job hunting.. Not that I hate my job, but I want to make more money and at this hotel there are not very many raises.. Just part of life I guess. Besides it would be cool to work for a national chain. I would like that very much.

Hey Sis!
I'm surprised that the vets didn't get you the extra yummy food after the ferret hadn't been eating for a day. Not eating for a day is much more deleterious for small animals then us big people. I know when our previous cat stopped eating, the vet saw us ASAP and told me exactly what food to get for Occupant. She also put water under the cat's skin. Of course, his problem was failing kidneys. Hopefully your ferret only has a minor illness.

Kick ass! Getting a new job with all of your experience should be a breeze. Just don't turn into Dilbert's "pointy-haired boss" & you'll be fine.

Hate to hear the doggies & ferret are having a tough time. Just give him tenderness & meds & he should shape up just fine. Miss Jewel, my Yorkie, is doing just fine. She keeps hubby & me on our toes!
