Problems...OH problems
My greatest problem as a manager is that I take after the person who really trained my. My previous manager.. basically,, I'm toooo nice..
I should fire people more often, but I hate it when coporate gets upset about paying into unemployment..
I've learned you suffer when you keep them, you suffer when you get rid of them. To bad the bad housekeepers just won't quit. That would save me a lot of time and effort.
I need to be mean.. I just don't have the heart.. Also I don't want coporate complaining.
Besides my love of the hotel. My previous manager Joe got a new job at another hotel. I'm happy for him, but I also know that he won't like it there either.. He hates the idea of working weekends, or holidays. I hope he doesn't try to take my workers. I have a few great ones and I don't want him to steal them away..

well, just to let you know....kristy will fire you in a heartbeat. its part of the reason i like her so much, and part of what makes her a great manager.
I hate being mean too, but all I have to do is channel Mom and I can really get the fire flowing. (I mean this in the nicest way possible, Mom just has no trouble tapping the inner beserker).
