WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE MY RELIEF, I CAN ACTUALLY BE A MANAGER NOW!! WOW..
THEY FIRED HIM AND HIRED A GUY NAMED JOE. JOE IS SOOOOOOO GREAT. HE IS ACTUALLY NICE AND HE EVEN CALLED TO WISH ME A MERRY CHRISTMAS. THE OTHER GUY NEVER CALLED UNLESS HE FOUND OUT A NEW WAY TO YELL AT ME.

THIS CHRISTMAS HAS TRULY BEEN A GREAT ONE.
I GOT SOME COOL PRESENTS. DAD GAVE ME A LITTLE MP3 PLAYER. DON'T KNOW THE REAL NAME OF IT BUT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD LIKE 100 SONGS AND LISTEN TO THEM. BIG BRO. GAVE ME AQUARIOUS, A COOL SEVENTIES GAME. I'M GOING TO PLAY IT WITH MY FRIENDS ON CHRISTMAS DAY. WE ARE HAVE HAM AND BEANS FOR LUNCH AT A FRIENDS HOUSE. GOT A NEW SUITE.
MY DOG GOT GROOMED AND A CHEW TOY.
TEDDY LOST A FEW MORE TEETH TO THE DENTIST (HE ONLY HAS HIS CANINES LEFT)
THE FERRETS GOT MORE TOYS AN I'M GLAD TO BE OFF FOR THE WEEKEND...

Comfort

The funeral was sweet. It was kinduve funny cause the husband spent more time comforting us. He made it very easy to say goodby. The only sad part was at the grave side. The oldest daughter played the song that has the words "I just called to say I love you" I guess mom would sing that song when she called. Anyway the kids cried through the song.
She was a great lady.

I did hire a new employee and she will start Wednesday. I hope she will be better thant he girl I fired. Big Brother, I think you are lucky in some sorts, you only have yourself to worry about. You don't have to babysit..

Anyway the holidays are upon us. I have to make something for a pitch in dinner at the hotel on Wednesday. I then have to make something for the pitch in dinner at church on Thursday. I'm not sure when I will find time to cook. I seem to be working late this week and don't have much time anymore.

Another funeral:(

Well it has been a stressful week again.
On Monday I fired Two girl for losing money again. During my investigation of the missing money she first informed me that she probably gave the money back to the guest and they paid another way. Video no show anything like that.
Then third girl had to steal is because thirdgirl hates twogirl. Possibility but can't be proven. Only proof is that she took it and even wrote in her drop log $100 less than what she should have. (The shift report tells you exactly what you should drop but I guess she didn't bother to look at it.)
Anyway, Fired two girl and then ten minutes later got a call from roommate and found out that thirdgirl passed away. She died of a heart attack. She was a good friend of my roommate so we were very sad. Don't know when the funeral is, I'm guessing this Saturday. However, I'm still in a fog. It is strange having to hire another worker to replace someone who died.
Anyway lost two workers in one day. Toto was a housekeeper that knew the front desk so she is my new third shifter, Hired a new one today for second.
I'm getting real tired of funerals and crying and flowers. This time I'm the one helping to make a meal for the grieving family.

Well, It's been awhile so I will update.
I went to my dad's for thanksgiving it was fun.
We went to medieval times and they jausted and had sword fights. By color "blue" did not win. The food was good and I enjoyed the entertainment.
We also played alot of games. Axis and Alies and Majong and A seventies game. I got to go first for the seventies game because I had the longest hair!!!

Then I came back went back to work and Monday evening was informed that my grandmother passed away. Left Wednesday (after 3 delays in my flight due to a fire alarm in the cargo bay breaking) evening and got to Atlanta by 10pm. Got to sleep by 2am, and went to funeral next day.
Got to learn about my cousins and what is up with them. One is pregnant again, one is now divorsed. Matt is enjoying the marines even though he has already had a few close calls. Please pray for his safety. Tara is a manager and making more than me. (I think I am in the wrong business.) Even though it was sad circumstances, it was great to see everyone again.

Now back to work....The question is this,, why is it whenever you correct someone they almost always answer the same way.."Well, so and so did this or that"
Am I missing something, Am I suppose to tell them everytime I disipline someone? Am I now accountable to my employee's. I didn't think so.
I get this everytime I write someone up. I give them 5oo chances and they are upset because Joe got one chance. So Who's the boss???
Why do people think they won't get into trouble it they bring the hole hotel into it.

example: Jan was late literally 10 times in three weeks. She kept telling me she would keep the other person out of overtime but that didn't happen. So on the third yes third week I wrote her up. Her first comment was "well you better write everyone up, because I'm not the only one that was late" (She is commenting about Kris that she hates and she was late once in thirty days) I explained that she had been late almost everyday and I can't have that. her response was "well, kris didn't wear her uniform on Saturday, are you writing her up for that"

Basically she couldn't handle the fact that she was getting in trouble and that it was her fault. Like I sad eariler. I'm a babysitter. WA WA WA WA WA WA WA WA.
