Facing the Unknown

I met the manager over at Hotel B. and he is okay. BB and the enw boss will definatly bunp heads. BB was told the wife will be running the hotel. She is very very very clean and I don't know how we will ever ive up to her expectations.

The owner is buying two hotels at one time. I guess this is good because he will have to keep the managers for awhile.

We all have to be rehired and it is up to the owner if we keep our senority.. Basically I'm a brand new hire come Wednesday. YUCK.... How do you put on your application that you are a new hire but nver left your job??? Confusing I say.
BB also told me that he is having to ship out all old audit boxes and invoices. NOTHING is allowed to remain when it is sold. I have 2 days over 30 heavy heavy boxes and my coporate office has not bothered to tell me anything. BB has already gotten his crew to fill out new applications. I can't until I get approveal and no one will speak with me.

Seriously, I could have skipped Friday all together and no one would have cared. I left early to take my ferret to the vet and tried to tell my regional. He never returned my calls. So I e-mailed him, said I was leaving and left. What are they going to do. Fire me they are already doing that Wednesday...HA HA HA.

It will be weird having a sister hotel. Hopefully this will end up being a good thing for my property!!!!

A NEW OWNER???

Well, new worries have arisen to the idea of a new owner.
Things I didn't think of at first.

1. Since we will in theory be working for a new company does that mean we are starting from scratch. I will earn 3 weeks paid vacation this august and I'm not looking forward losing it.

The grapevine told me that all employees would have to fill out an application and have a new start date. That basically means we will lose what vacation we have right now. Some of my employees just got three weeks vacation. How do I tell them they have to wait a year and start over with one week. Not a good sign..

2. If we have to be rehired then he can change our rate of pay to whatever he wants. Great I'm already work for nothing, what else can they take..

I'm trying to think positive but it is not working anymore.. I wish he would just change his mind.. Sad but true...


New at work.. My third has decided working at work is to hard... TT does not understand that I am actually making a very nice paper trail so TT will not get unemployment.. HA HA HA

Write up 1. Lost Money Never found
Write up 2. Feces in stall never cleaned... (TT Blamed someone else for messing it up after TT cleaned. Never had the hart to tell TT I was the one who caused the explosion. That is why I knew hat had been there for a few days.
Write up 3. Mold. I left it there for 5 days. Then e-mailed thirds and told them to get cleaning. TT didn't. Claimed the CC could verify TT cleans.. CC can only verify TT goes in there. TT does change the trash at least........
Tomorrow TT gets another write up for not cleaning... there is Pee all over the seat.. I got two other employees to verify it is there and they will verify it is there tomorrow. I'm getting witnesses.

I'm back again

Well I'm back with a lot to say..
I will try to blog more often since my life will be going crazy.
At least this way I can get any frustration out without getting fired...

1. A I.I. tried to sue the hotel... said I fired her cause she doesn't speak english.. WHAT EVER.
She has sued like 5 different businesses.. So far she has never won... Considering she was very good at yelling at other employees in english it is funny she claims she can't speak it now...
I had to go to a meeting with the EOP company and give a statement. So did several of my employees... They all told them how crazy I.I. was... So hopefully this is over..

2. Today M.C. came and had a meeting with my regional and myself. Come to find out my hotel will be sold on January 31, 2007... WOW..... He seems okay but we have a lot of work todo to get the place were he wants it.

I will stil be the same hotel but just a new owner.. He is also bying the BB down the street and so I will have a sister hotel near by.. This can be good I hope... Still in shock but at least he seems to like me so I should be able to keep my job for awhile...
